The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh welcomed four new contestants to the show last night, but one caused a stir with viewers after revealing her 'secret' job.
Sandy, 54, told the presenter that she wanted to win some cash to go to acting classes.
She managed to win a decent £5,000 in the cash builder, and defeat The Governess Anne Hegerty to get back to her team.
Asked what was her favourite job since moving around the country, she told Bradley that she loved to teach.
But viewers were amused when Sandy revealed that she was now working as a secret shopper.
She said: "Basically, I make loads of phone calls to government departments, banks and officers and see if they are following regulations.
"Then I write a report and send it off."
Viewers were left in stitches by the contestant's admission, with one saying: "Sandy may need to reconsider her career now shes told the entire nation shes a secret shopper, Sandy ain't so secret anymore! #TheChase."
Another wrote: "Sandy is a mystery shopper you've just told us #TheChase."
“'I’m Sandy, I’m 54; and I’m a mystery shopper from Nottinghamshire.' Not anymore you’re not, love!" said another.
But one pointed out: "People saying Sandy has blown her mystery shopper cover... she does it over the phone people!!!"
