The Chase contestant baffles viewers with unique job

Viewers of the chase were baffled by one contestant's job on tonight's The Chase.

Andy, a 52-year-old, who appeared on the show said that he worked as a dog swimming teacher.

He said that he owns a dog swimming pool where he teaches dogs to swim, hosts pool parties and doggy diving classes.

Chaser Jenny Ryan said she had a lot of questions for him about the role and then went on to ask: "Is the most difficult part getting the trunks on them?"

Fans took to Twitter to share their amusement at the unusual role.

Lee said: "He shows dogs how to do doggy paddle. Who knew."

Steve said: "A dog swimming teacher... Chuck it in see if it floats #thechase."

Lois said: "A dog swimming teacher, what a job! # TheChase."

Mitch said: "Did he say dog swimming teacher? #TheChase."

Andy played last in tonight's game, facing the chaser after his team mates Rahul, Rosa and Megan.

35-year-old Rahul played first, up against chaser Jenny Ryan, and opted for the middle offer of £5,000.

However, The Vixen caught up to him and he was sent home with nothing.

Next up to play was welfare rights advisor, Rosa.

Bradley complimented her as he said: "Lovely name by the way."

The open swimmer from Edinburgh wanted to spend any winnings on a new couch.

She was doing well until asked: "The Mexican giant cardon is the tallest species of what desert plant?" to which she answered: " Camel."

Bradley seemed to be in disbelief and he corrected her with: "Cactus."

When it came to her selecting her offer, fellow team mate Andy said: "Don't let the camel question give you the hump!"

But, Rosa had already knocked her confidence and went for the lower offer of £1,000.

She successfully made her way back to the bench, adding the first lot of money to the prize pot for the team.

Third to play was 39-year-old meditation coach, Megan.

She hoped to spend any winnings on a loft conversion in her home.

Megan said: "I'm only going to be here once" as she optimistically went for the higher offer of £42,000.

However, the writer was a bit too optimistic and joined Rahul in going home empty handed.

Finally, Andy, from Suffolk, went up against the chaser.

If he won anything, he wanted to take his wife on a train journey across Europe.

He joined Megan in taking the higher offer, which was £69,000.

The only train he would be taking was the train home as he was beaten by Jenny and sent home with nothing, meaning that tonight's prize pot was a measly £1,000 earned solely by Rosa.

The 28-year-old was set to play The Vixen in the final round all alone, and managed to correctly answer 11 questions.

With three attempts to push the chaser back, Rosa was still caught with 41 seconds to go.
