The Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers have lost a number of heartbreaking games in heartbreaking fashion over the years.
On Sunday they took things to a new level in the final minute of their game against Ryan Tannehill and the Titans in Nashville as a fumble by Melvin Gordon inside the 1-yard line gave Tennessee a 23-20 win… and gave the Chargers another brutal ending to add to their vast collection.
The Chargers had two touchdowns in the final minute called back after replays and then failed twice to find the end zone from the 1 yard line.
The final attempt came on 2nd and goal and that is when disaster struck as Gordon fumbled and the call on the field stood after a replay:
NFL fans crushed the Chargers, who are now 2-5.
