It's been some start to the season for Swansea City, but the club's outstanding form actually began some time ago.
The Championship table for the 2019 calendar year makes very interesting reading, with the Swans sitting top of the table, as they do in the real thing after five games of this season.
Swansea have earned 48 points from 27 matches played in 2019, two more than the likes of West Brom and Bristol City who sit in second and third place in the annual league table.
The top four is completed by Leeds United who have won 45 points in 2019.
At the other end of the spectrum, Stoke City and QPR have real reasons to be concerned, while Birmingham City’s decent start to the new campaign has managed to wipe away some of the cobwebs from last season.
