On Monday night, legends of the fashion world and their A-list friends turned out in droves for the CFDA Awards.
Dressed in their best designer threads, the night saw Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski and CFDA Fashion Icon Jennifer Lopez take to the pink carpet. After the awards, many stars chose to celebrate until the early hours at the CFDA Fashion Awards’ official after party.
Held at the Boom Boom Room at The Standard Hotel, Big Little Lies’ Shailene Woodley had arguably the best time as she was seen dancing and laughing with a very stylish partner: designer Jonathan Simkhai.
Dressed in a black tuxedo dress, Woodley was one of many celebrities who opted to go for a bold beauty look that night, flashing her tangerine cat eyeliner at cameras.
Naturally, the model set were in attendance and Victoria’s Secret angel Karolina Kurkova was seen dancing her way into the party. Wearing gigantic hoop earrings and a glittery bodysuit, she was later seen laughing with her husband Archie Drury as he adjusted his suit.
Model Alek Wek was also the life of the party as she greeted her designer friends Rosie Assoulin and Nicole Miller, as well as model Anne V.
The Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham arrived in one of the most dramatic dresses of the evening: a tulle Oscar de la Renta gown that trailed along the floor behind her.
CFDA pink carpet host June Ambrose was also in attendance and was in high spirits, despite being criticised on Twitter for her red carpet gaffe earlier that night. While interviewing influencer Hannah Bronfman (who attended the CFDAs with the Kate Spade New York creative team), Ambrose asked Bronfman where designer Kate Spade was. The designer passed away last year.
Other attendees also included CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year winner Brandon Maxwell, actor La La Anthony, model Presley Gerber and designer Rachel Zoe.
