Odin Thiago Holm could find himself playing on the biggest stage in football this summer, at the new-look Club World Cup.
The Celtic loanee appears to have a chance of rubbing shoulders with some of the best players and teams on the globe.
That's because his loan club - LAFC - have the opportunity to replace Leon in the competition.
The Mexican outfit have been kicked out of the FIFA tournament after they were found to have breached multi-club rules due to their close association with CF Pachuca.
As a result, reports in the US claim that LAFC will now participate in a one-off play-off game against Club America to take Leon's spot.
That's because LAFC were runners up to Leon in the 2023 CONCACAF Champions League, meanwhile, Club America are top of the coefficient rankings within the region.
The winner of the play-off will be placed into Group D of the Club World Cup.
This will see them go up against Chelsea, Flamengo and ES Tunis.
This could be a lucrative opportunity for LAFC, with each team that enters the tournament guaranteed a £10m payment.
