The BBC has unveiled the first full trailer for the Celebrity Traitors, which sees a star-studded cast invited to “go forth and murder” in the Highlands.
The hotly anticipated spin-off of the hit reality series launches on October 8, with celebrities swapping the red carpet for Ardross Castle in Scotland where they will battle it out for £100,000 for charity.
Bridget Jones actor Celia Imrie, Stephen Fry and EastEnders star Tameka Empson are among the famous faces taking part.
They will join comedian Alan Carr, singer-songwriter Cat Burns, Charlotte Church, broadcaster Clare Balding, former England rugby player Joe Marler, After Life star Joe Wilkinson and presenter Jonathan Ross.
Others who have signed up include broadcaster Kate Garraway, Dept Q actor Mark Bonnar, Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed, content creator Niko Omilana, Paloma Faith, The Fall of the House of Usher actor Ruth Codd and Olympic diver Tom Daley.

The trailer, released on Monday, captures the celebrities’ arrival at the castle as host Claudia Winkleman warns: “There is no special treatment.”
“This is life or death, isn’t it?” asks comedian Lucy Beaumont in one clip, while historian David Olusoga reacts: “That’s quite a twist.”
Empson, best known for playing Kim Fox in BBC soap EastEnders, told the Standard at the National Television Awards that she had been sworn to secrecy for so long about her involvement that she had “completely forgotten” she was even part of the show.
While she could not reveal much, she admitted she was “over the moon” to finally take part and teased that viewers can expect plenty of “d-rama.”

The format pits a group of “faithfuls” against a handful of hidden “traitors” who secretly conspire to eliminate their rivals. Each evening, the players must decide who to banish, with the last star standing scooping the prize pot for their chosen cause.
The Celebrity Traitors is produced by Studio Lambert and will run across nine episodes.
The original version, De Verraders, launched on RTL4 in the Netherlands before becoming a global hit. The UK civilian edition has so far aired three series on the BBC, fronted by Winkleman.
The Celebrity Traitors will launch on Wednesday October 8 at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
