The Cardiff streets where the council makes the most money from parking fines

New data shows the Cardiff streets where millions of pounds have been made from parking fines.

Over the last 12 months, Cardiff Council has made over £2,364,140 from over 37,000 parking fines.

A Freedom of Information request from WalesOnline has revealed the 100 streets in the Welsh capital where the most parking tickets have been given out.

The 10 streets which have made the most money from parking fines:

The areas of Cathays and Roath, especially on the roads of City and Crwys Road, all feature heavily in the top 100 streets.

But if you end up getting hit with a fine do not despair. The figures reveal that just over half (52%) of appeals against fines were sucessful.

In fact, on some streets nearly all appeals resulted in the ticket being overturned.

Of the 48 appeals in Pendyris Street in Grangetown a whopping 46 were sucessful.
