The Cardiff City evening transfer headlines as Stoke City, Sunderland and Bristol City eye Bluebird and possible twist in Kieffer Moore's Wigan situation

Cardiff City midfielder Will Vaulks is attracting interest from Championship duo Bristol City and Stoke City.

The Wales man has struggled to nail down a place in the Bluebirds' starting XI this season, firstly under Neil Warnock and latterly with new boss Neil Harris.

He was involved in the FA Cup clash against Carlisle last week and could be set for further game-time this weekend against Reading in the same competition.

Sunderland are also keeping tabs on him, as well as the Robins and the Potters.

Vaulks arrived in South Wales in a £2million deal from Rotherham, but things haven't quite gone to plan, with Leandro Bacuna and Marlon Pack being preferred to him in the middle of the park.

Elsewhere, there appears to be a bit of confusion over Cardiff's interest in Kieffer Moore.

The Bluebirds were thought to have ended their interest in the Wigan and Wales frontman last week, with the two clubs failing to find agreement in their valuation.

WalesOnline understands that Cardiff have moved on from Moore, but national reports state that they are "still keen" on the physical forward.

The Daily Mail state : "Wigan, Middlesbrough and Birmingham City are showing interest in Stoke City striker Lee Gregory who could be allowed to leave on loan at the end of this month. Wigan may need to sell first with Cardiff City still keen on Kieffer Moore."

Gregory has also been linked with a move to Cardiff City Stadium.
