ITV2's The Cabins will welcome two new arrivals into its fold tomorrow night.
Model Charlotte and mechanical engineer Remi, who also happens to be Seal's second cousin, will try their luck at finding love in the cabins.
Asked why she has signed up for the show, 26-year-old Charlotte explained that she hoped that she would be "better matched and find love" because her own choices haven't worked out.
“My preferred style of dates is definitely fun games, activities, something interactive, rather than be sat there talking and be bored," she explained.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old Remi said: "I’m hoping to find someone special to spend the rest of my life with… and I’m certain this is the way to do it.”
Probed on what kind of date he was looking for, he said: "I’m hoping for a combination of a relaxed vibe butlots of fun. A couple of drinks and deep chats in between.”
But he admitted that this wasn't his ideal first date: "Because it’s quite long and there isn’t too much to do… but I suppose it’s a different experience, it’s more one-on-one. It’ll be interesting to see how it varies to being in asocial setting to being one-on-one."
He also revealed that he has a famous relation.
"My second cousin is Seal," Remi said. "He’s my dad’s cousin. They shared a flat in London together when they were younger. I’ve never met him. It’s a pretty bad claim to fame as I don’t know him and not met him, but it’s all I’ve got.”
Opening up about his worst ever date, Remi said: "I went on a date with someone who seemed really nice over an app, in person the conversation was devoid of any emotion or life.
"It was during lockdown, so we just walked around a bit and then sat on Primrose Hill, so I was with someone with no conversation, sat in the rain, wondering when it was too rude to leave.”
