TV DINNER Dragging yourself away from the couch on a winter's night to watch live music could be over after Lizotte's launched it's "Live'n'Streamin" ticket option. The Lambton theatre is limited to 100 people due to COVID-19 restrictions and it forced owner Brian Lizotte to investigate different revenue options. All shows will be filmed in HD and broadcast via a private video stream. Tickets for current shows range from $13 to $18.
"It will complement the real-life experience of a show with a live audience and also enable the artist to make some extra income as well, which is definitely needed in these times," Lizotte says. "Steaming for us will be here to stay well past COVID-19."
Upcoming shows include Mark Gable (August 14), Steve Balbi (August 22) and Diesel (August 24).
