Netflix has announced that it will be releasing a new movie, The Bubble on Netflix. The comedy film is based around a group of actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel.
The group in question are trying to complete a sequel to an action film franchise about flying dinosaurs. The cast for The Bubble includes Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy), Pedro Pascal (Prospect), Leslie Mann (This Is 40), Keegan-Michael Key (Keanu), David Duchovny (The Joneses), Iris Apatow (Knocked Up) and Fred Armisen (Cop Out).
Judd Apatow, who helped write The Bubble, alongside fellow writer Pam Brady, said ‘’I hope the movie makes people happy and makes them laugh and gives them a break. It really only exists to be a way for all of us to commiserate about how bizarre and troubling and hard it’s been.’’

What to expect from The Bubble?
The Bubble trailer is available to watch on the Netflix official YouTube account or within Netflix itself. The trailer sets off to a very heavy dramatic start and as the clip continues, it’s clear that the actors are creating their pandemic film ‘’Cliff Beasts 2’’.
The clip feels more surreal as it shows scenes of actors taking COVID tests and mentions the use of PPE. Although the actors in the film are trying to create a film in the midst of a pandemic, humour is laced throughout, giving it a light-hearted feel and something viewers can enjoy in a humorous way.
The relatable scenes such as numerous video calls and the desire for the actors to provide entertainment value in the pandemic, offer viewers an extra sense of connection to the new film.
