It's become something of a legend through Glasgow way.
So we'd argue it's only fair that the good people of Edinburgh are able to sample the mouth-watering all day breakfast treats served up by the talented folks at The Brunch Club.
Well, there's good news on that front – as they've now officially opened a restaurant on Melville Street in the former home of Scruffy Murphy's.
And if the Glasgow eatery is anything to go by the all day brunch is set to become a favourite with people looking for a special cure the day after the night before.
So what exactly can you get your chops around? The menu features all the favourites you'd expect from a top-of-the-range brunch joint but also some of the classics given a fresh and exciting twist.
You can order treats such as chicken and waffle with Hennessy butter or a sticky honey and soy glaze, French toast with chocolate ganache, peanut and almond butter and caramelised banana and pancakes with coconut panna cotta, fresh lemon curd and salted meringue.
On the cocktail front they serve up Bloody Marys (of course they do) but also offer a Bloody Mary Doll topped with Buckfast – an interesting one if you're making an early morning visit.
