The Bristol restaurants, takeaways and pubs given a zero-star food hygiene rating recently

Eight Bristol establishments have received the worst possible food hygiene rating since the start of June.

The Food Standards Agency classes businesses with a zero-star rating as 'urgent improvement necessary'.

Inspectors consider how hygienically food is handled, how it is prepared, cooked, re-heated, cooled and stored.

Also key is how the business records what it does to ensure food is safe.

We have compiled a list of the establishments given zero stars since the beginning of June.

Bristol Live has approached all parties mentioned for a comment, but if your business would like to add a response to the story, email conor.gogarty@reachplc.com.

The information below is publicly available on the Food Standards Agency website. The ratings appear as they do on that website at the time of publication.
