The brilliant Swansea City player ratings as Fisher immense and sub makes key impact at Blackpool

Olivier Ntcham's goal ensured Swansea City came home with three points thanks to a 1-0 victory over Blackpool, their first win of the new season.

Here's how the Swans rated:

ANDY FISHER - star man 9

Brilliant save to deny Josh Bowler very early on but was largely a spectator after that as Swansea dominated long periods. Very good in possession when Swansea did go back to the goalkeeper and produced a vital penalty save to keep the game level. Good save late on to deny Bowler again and kept a clean sheet. Superb.

BEN CABANGO 8

On his first league start of the season, Cabango impressed with the ball at his feet and was unfortunate to see his bullet header fly wide in the first half. Read play well on numerous occasions in what was a top display.

KYLE NAUGHTON 8

Operating on the left, Naughton regularly got into attacking positions while his composure defensively and in possession was magnificent.

HARRY DARLING 7

Made a fair number of clearances to ensure Fisher was largely untroubled. Desperately unlucky to concede a penalty after what looked to be a dive from Kenny Dougall. Always confident on the ball.

JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 8

Another solid showing from the defender who looked comfortable in a back four and was happy to get forward when required.

JAY FULTON 7

Fortunate to get away with a mistake early on but settled after that. Brilliantly challenged right at the end of the opening half as he pulled the trigger. Subbed.

MATT GRIMES 8

The captain shone in the middle of the park and went so close to netting in the first half. Always a threat in the Blackpool half as he took more risks, which was encouraging.

RYAN MANNING 8

Pressed really well throughout and regularly won the ball high up the pitch, such was his endeavour. Looked dangerous on corner duty too. Tougher second half but was still very impressive.

JOEL PIROE 7

Linked up play well and was more than happy to drop deep to influence proceedings. A couple of efforts on goal which didn't really trouble Dan Grimshaw.

MATTY SORINOLA 7

Got into so many promising positions on the right and put in numerous deliveries into the Blackpool box.

MICHAEL OBAFEMI 7

The forward was beating his arms in the air as fans chanted his name during the warm-up, and Obafemi looked full of confidence. Twice denied by Dan Grimshaw in the first half but always looked lively when on the ball. Unselfishly squared to Olivier Ntcham for the winner.

SUBS

Olivier Ntcham (for Fulton) - Gave his side more of a threat in the final third. On hand to tap home the winner. Top impact off the bench. 7

Cameron Congreve (for Sorinola) - Showed plenty of confidence in the final stages.

Joe Allen (for Piroe) - Helped to see out the game.

Liam Cullen (for Naughton) - As above. Used his energy well.
