The brilliant new chant Tottenham fans have got for Moussa Sissoko that shows how far he's come

Moussa Sissoko was regarded as a Tottenham flop in his first season with the club.

And there were times last year when the fans had not quite warmed to the Frenchman, who cost £30million from Newcastle United.

Now though, the 29-year-old is one of the first names on the teamsheet.

From being an outsider, Sissoko is now one of Mauricio Pochettino's trusted players and his performances this season have led many to suggest that he deserves to win the club's player of the year accolade.

Not bad for someone who was written off in his first season at Spurs.

Sissoko was once again at the forefront of a stellar Spurs performance on Saturday as the Lilywhites brushed aside relegated Huddersfield Town 4-0.

That came after an impressive display at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the 1-0 win over Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final first leg too.

Sissoko's name could often be heard ringing around Wembley when the club were playing their home games at the national stadium, and now it is being sung inside the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium too.

And the Spurs fans have an incredible new chant for the Frenchman that really shows how far he has come since his move to the club in 2016.

It is sung to the tune of Wham's Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go and goes a little something like this: "Wake me up, before you go-go, who needs Bale when you've got Sissoko."
