A four-pack of Stella lager was the most popular alcoholic item Leeds Co-op customers ordered via Deliveroo during coronavirus lockdown.
The home delivery service has revealed the shopping habits of its Co-op customers during the pandemic.
Co-op stores in Leeds joined Deliveroo in July 2017. You can now order from 400 Co-op stores via the service.
In Leeds, the most popular groceries ordered from Co-op via Deliveroo were – not all that surprisingly – milk, bread and eggs.
But customers in the city also ordered strawberries and bananas.
The top soft drink to sell from Co-op via Deliveroo was Diet Coke in 1.25-litre bottles while the most ordered alcoholic item was a four-pack of 440ml Stella Artois cans.
Leeds top alcoholic choice varies from the national picture though; Co-op's Irresistible Prosecco was the most popular tipple in the country.
Other popular items included avocados, face masks and newspapers.
People's eating habits have also changed for the healthier with fruit the number one choice for consumers during lockdown since the country went into lockdown at the end of March.
