The bookmakers' Championship verdict going into the international break

Leeds United remained on the cusp of the Championship's automatic promotion places with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.

But United were denied the chance to climb into the top two ahead of the international break as both league-leaders West Brom and second-placed Preston North End bagged victories of their own, defeating Hull City and Huddersfield Town respectively.

But as the Championship has proven so often already this season, it remains as tight and congested at the top as it has in recent memory. Right now, just nine points separate West Brom at the top and QPR in 10th, meaning it remains anybody's guess as to who will make up the top six come May.

But whilst the season may only be 16 games old, predictions for the remaining 30 Championship matches are already being made and the bookies have shared the latest odds for the 2019/20 season.

Leeds remain the favourites to win the Championship title with odds of 5/4 currently being offered for them to take the ultimate crown. Hot on Leeds' heels, though, are West Brom at 15/8.
