The Book of Mormon in Edinburgh: Tickets, dates and venue announced for hit comedy musical

The Book of Mormon will run at the Edinburgh Playhouse next summer – with the smash hit musical in town from 17 June to 4 July.

Tickets for the show go on-sale on Wednesday (13 November) at 10am, and you'll certainly need to be on the ball the snap them up given the hype surrounding last week's announcement that it would be arriving in the city.

The production, which was created by the comedy minds of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, has won more than 30 international awards. Robert Lopez is the third writer and he is one of only 15 artists to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.

The Book of Mormon follows a pair of missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as they attempt to preach the religion to the inhabitants of a remote Ugandan village.

ATG TheatreCard holders can buy tickets now, with the general sale starting at 10am on Wednesday. For more information, click here.
