A cannabis farm has been discovered in a suburban bungalow.
Police raided the property in middle-class Hillhouse Gardens in Barassie on Sunday.
A neighbour had sniffed out the farm and brought in officers.
Chief Inspector Brian Anderson said: “Cannabis was being grown in a garage.
“We are still trying to establish ownership of the house and whether it was let or sub-let.”
Officers protected the scene overnight and a number of plants and equipment were removed for analysis.
CID moved to the scene on Monday to make follow-up inquiries.
One resident said: “This is a very quiet cul-de-sac in a very quite area.
“I cannot remember anything out of the ordinary happening here.”
