The Blues surprised superfan Laila with a Stanley Cup ring and her reaction was awesome

The St. Louis Blues’ run to their first Stanley Cup was a special one for everyone on the team and all the fans in St. Louis who partied pretty hard after their Game 7 win over the Boston Bruins last June.

But it especially meant a lot to Laila Anderson, the team’s young superfan whose battle with the rare immune disorder called HLH inspired the team all along the way.

Laila was in Boston for Game 7 and was able to have some awesome moments with the players and the Cup on the ice after the win.

The good times continued this week when two players from the team – Alexander Steen and Colton Parayko – showed up at Laila’s house and surprised her with her own championship ring. These huge rings are extra special because each one has her name is engraved on the inside of the ring.

Her reaction was pretty great:

Well done, Blues.
