The Block’s Han & Can Reportedly Hit Up Queer Celebs In A Desperate Bid To Save Their Auction

The Block Finale Han Can G Flip

In the lead-up to the disastrous The Block 2025 finale, the contestants knew they were in for a shitshow, and some even tried to outsource assistance to promote their ill-fated homes: namely Han and Can who apparently hit up a bunch of queer icons for help.

In the final hours before the finale, the WA duo are rumoured to have slid into the DMs of Ellen DeGeneresG FlipRebel Wilson and Ruby Rose, basically hoping someone gay and powerful would rock up, vibe the Daylesford stone fireplace, and drop a few milli.

Honestly, if I’d spent months building a bougie country-cottage dream home only to risk it passing in, I too would be fire-DMing queer icons for help.

“They were hoping the LGBTQIA+ girlies would have their back,” an insider told PEDESTRIAN.TV. “The strategy was good but probably executed a tad too late.”

They apparently even sent gifts, including one to G Flip that arrived too late. Postal services: the true villains of Australian television.

Producers later joked they should’ve hit Rosie O’Donnell because she was literally in Australia at the time. The sapphic universe was trying to manifest, okay? The vision was there.

This could’ve been Australia’s greatest lesbian rom-com moment since Carol went to Myer. The house passed in, but the hustle? Olympic level. They didn’t just build a home, they built alliances. A legacy. A fanbase ready to follow them into TV gigs, property careers, and the lesbian power-sphere.

Also, word is G Flip might still get that gift this week so honestly? This storyline is not over. If that turns into a cute IG moment, we will not be normal about it.

Insiders have claimed that the ladies weren’t pleased at all with how the season played out for them, and I’m not just referring to the finale.

“They were literally told where to sit, how far apart to be, and how to look for each piece-to-camera,” a friend told PEDESTRIAN.TV. “None of that was natural. They were affectionate off-camera, that just didn’t make the cut.”

“Those interviews are brutal,” one insider explained. “They’d get asked to repeat certain lines or hold a pose. Meanwhile, other couples were encouraged to be all over each other. It made Han and Can look distant by comparison, which was the point.”

Apparently, the couple were blindsided when the edit aired and fans started reading into every sideways glance or crossed arm.

“They actually had a great time filming,” said another source. “But watching people online dissect their body language has been devastating. It’s not who they are.”

Meanwhile, the drama is far from over as anonymous The Block contestants have exposed the drama in the contestant group chats including a “tone-deaf” message that was sent by the winning team.

And as if things weren’t bad enough for the cast, it’s now been revealed how long they need to wait to get their payment and it’s quite grim…
