The brutal Block fanbase is ripping Queensland’s Sonny a new one for chucking his two cents in on Britt and Taz‘s shed drama.
The article contains spoilers for The Block. Proceed with caution.
While Western Australia duo Britt and Taz decided to keep their lips sealed on the drama surrounding their “non-compliant” speakeasy, the news unfortunately (but unsurprisingly) reached the other houses.

To give you a quick recap, on Tuesday night’s episode — AKA the start of Landscaping Week — Britt and Taz were rocked after their shed, which featured what the judges deemed a “bar”, was ruled to be “non-compliant”. As a result, the duo were forced to rebuild/redesign their “speakeasy” in order for their house to be sold.
At the end of the episode, the pair decided to save themselves from the drama and chose not to tell the other teams about the kerfuffle.
However, on Wednesday’s episode, it’s soon revealed that the other houses have learned about their “non-compliant” woes, with Sonny spilling the tea to producers in a scathing on-site confessional.

Speaking to producers, Sonny refused to “reveal his sources” on who shared the shed drama, but admitted that he doesn’t feel bad for Britt and Taz’s setback.
“The rules are the rules, play by them,” Sonny said.
“It was raised at judging anyways, wasn’t it?
“When someone comes past and says something like that, you need to take that hint. They said it was signed off, but clearly, maybe it wasn’t.”
When a producer asked how he felt about Britt and Taz hiding their shed issues at dinner, Sonny took a jab at their occupations as police officers, stating they should’ve been truthful about their builds.

“The biggest issue that I have is if we pride ourselves on being honest and true and upstanding citizens — if you ask me a question, I’ll give you an answer,” Sonny said.
“I might not want to be so forthcoming, but if you ask me, I will tell you. If a question is asked, it’s not gonna affect anything, just tell us.
“Fine, upstanding officers of the law, and [they’re] put under a little bit of cross examination, and if we were swearing on the Bible, admission is as just as bad as lying.”
The Block fans react to Sonny’s confessional
While Sonny’s two cents on the drama were quite spicy, fans weren’t too pleased with his sassy behaviour.

This isn’t the first time Sonny has copped some heat over his interactions with Britt and Taz. Last week, Sonny and Alicia were both embroiled in controversy following a body corporation where the other houses demanded that the WA couple not work on their deck after they completed their subframe a week earlier.
The body corporate then turned into a confrontation between Alicia and Britt after Britt called her out for “snide” comments.
After a heated back-and-forth, the pair eventually made up. However, Britt admitted that their friendship had been damaged.
“Today really made us realise, ‘Are we going to be friends with these people when we leave?’ Our friends wouldn’t do this to us,” Britt shared in a confessional.
The Block is truly keeping us fed with the DRAMA of it all (and I’m lowkey obsessed).
