NEWCASTLE-born fitness entrepreneur Michelle Bridges has dropped the price of her Southern Highlands estate after the sprawling acreage failed to sell at auction.

The Biggest Loser star initially hoped to fetch around $7 million at auction for the five-bedroom, three-bathroom property which would have earned her a profit of $4.3 million.
However, the property was readjusted with a guide of $6.5 million but was passed in at $4.825 million by auctioneer Damien Cooley.
The property is now listed with a price guide of $5 million with The Agency's Ben Olofsen.

Built in 1985 and located in Kangaloon, a 15-minute drive from Bowral, the property named Summerside includes the main residence, a guest house above the garage, a pool and a tennis court with landscaped gardens and established trees across the acreage.
After purchasing the property for $2.7 million in 2017, Bridges listed the house for sale in February in order to to move back to Sydney for work commitments.

Bridges was born and raised in Newcastle but built her career in fitness in Sydney working as a trainer and appearing on morning television shows before landing her big break as a coach on The Biggest Loser.
In 2015, Bridges earned a spot in BRW magazine's Rich Women's list with a net worth of $53 million.
