The biggest ever sale is currently on at George at Asda, with 25 per cent off all clothing, footwear and accessories.

So if you haven't yet started your Christmas shopping but need a good excuse, look no further.

You'll have to get a move on though because the discount ends today, Manchester Evening News report.

The sale is only available in stores, though, and you won't be able to get the discount by shopping online.

Speaking to Manchester Evening News , a spokesperson for Asda said: "George will be offering 25 per cent off everything - in store only for 5 days from Thursday, October 17 through to Monday, October 21.

"The deal applies to all clothing, footwear and accessories."
