The Big Sunderland AFC survey - have your say on takeover, transfers & key challenges

After a year like no other, Christmas is going to be strange for us all.

And for Sunderland fans, there isn't even the traditional festive fixtures to look forward to.

The Black Cats have one more scheduled game of 2020 - at Accrington on December 29 - after a Covid-19 outbreak at the club led to three games being postponed.

It's a strange end to an unusual year, which has seen Sunderland change managers - again - a takeover saga which has run the full course of 12 months, and a restructure which has seen Kristjaan Speakman appointed at sporting director.

In between, the Wearsiders saw their promotion hopes dashed back in the spring when the League One season was ended and the final table decided by points-per-game, meaning Sunderland missed out on the play-offs by the narrowest of margins.

Throw in new salary caps, transfers and having to play without fans and it's safe to say it's been an extraordinary year.

And we want to know what you make of it all in our Big Sunderland AFC Survey 2020-21.

Simply answer our questions below to let us know how you feel about the Black Cats as we enter the new year.

It's going to be a challenging time for many clubs, with fixtures backing up already, and an interesting January transfer window on the horizon.

What does the future hold for the Black Cats under Lee Johnson - and what should the expectations be?

We'll collate and publish the results in the coming weeks, so let us know your views here.
