Former goalkeeper Paul Robinson thinks Leeds United could actually benefit from not having fans inside the ground for their promotion run-in.
United continue their promotion bid at long last on Sunday when they head to Cardiff, but their attempts to get over the line will be behind closed doors.
Speaking on Sky Sports ' Football Show, former keeper Robinson made no bones about just how great Leeds fans are, but he does believe there could yet be an advantage to his old club as they attempt promotion without any nervousness or pressure from the stands.
"We talked about teams losing home advantage, but sometimes there is a huge pressure to playing at home, especially when things haven't gone well," he said.
"There is a nervousness and uncertainty that creeps in. There is certainly an expectancy when you play at Elland Road.
"It's one of the best-supported football clubs in the land.
"They sell out home and away and the support the club has got is phenomenal."
"To hopefully celebrate promotion in front of an empty stadium will be hugely disappointing, as it will be at Anfield for Liverpool fans.
"But you would take promotion in any shape or form and I'm sure the celebration will take place when they can. But the home advantage with the support behind them is absolutely huge.
"But there is a nervousness and an expectancy that can creep in."
Even playing behind closed doors, Robinson believes Marcelo Bielsa's men will get the job done, as long as they can navigate their way through a couple of difficult opening fixtures from the restart.
"I just think everything is in their favour at the moment and I just can't see - unless they get a difficult set of results in their first few games - because they are difficult games in Cardiff and Fulham," he said.
"Should they not go their way, nervousness might creep in, but should they get positive results in their first few games, then I can see Leeds securing promotion very early."
