The Big Feed is returning next weekend - here's what you can expect

The Big Feed will be making a welcome return to the city next weekend.

The street food market and beer garden in Govan will now be open to customers every weekend.

The site on Govan Road will be all seated with live music and a full bar.

Entry is still be £2, but will be free for NHS staff with ID cards and under 10's. It's asked that customers pay contactless when possible.

The event will be open from 12pm til 10pm on Saturdays and 12pm til 8pm on Sundays from July 25 and 26.

A total of 11 traders have already been confirmed for the reopening including Bao Buns, Chick n Pea, Rost Eats, Firedog and Muerte Por Churros.

Big Feed joins the city's other indoor street food markets including the DockYard Social and Platform @ The Arches which opened their doors this weekend.

Indoor restaurants and bars were given the official go-ahead to reopen from July 15 as part of Phase 3 in the routemap out of lockdown.

Big Feed launched back in 2017 and is used to support Glasgow the Caring City charity.
