Shkodran Mustafi is not exactly what you would call a fans' favourite at Arsenal.
The big German is a much-maligned character, often criticised for the Gunenrs' failings at the back when he plays.
The 27-year-old has made 87 Premier League appearances for Arsenal since joining the club from Valencia in the summer of 2016, but only three of those league games have come this season and only one has been a start.
He has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates and looks unlikely to win a first team place back under Mikel Arteta.
Mustafi signed a five-year contract with the Gunners when he arrived in 2016, meaning he has a year-and-a-half left to run on his current deal.
He could continue to play a bit-part role, picking up his wages and leave the club on a free transfer next summer, but the German has offered a hint that he is looking for something else by changing agent.
Sports Business & Entertainment or SBE Management for short, announced on Tuesday that Mustafi had joined them as one of their clients.
Changing agents in the midst of a transfer window suggests that a player is looking to make an exit.
And Arsenal legend Ian Wright has urged new head coach Arteta to let him leave, despite the injury to Calum Chambers that leaves the Gunners a bit light at the back.
Wright said: "You have got someone like Arteta coming in but there’s nothing you can do to coach a defender of his experience now, those are the type of players he’s got to be looking to get rid of."
