The big clean-up
On October 10th a big group of volunteers, including ordinary people, soldiers, police and city workers gathered outside the Grand Palace.
They were there to clean Na Phra Lan Road to prepare for the royal cremation.
Some cleaners used hoses to douse the road and the rest used brooms to scrub the dirt away with soapy water. Then the hoses were used again to rinse the road.
It was hard work, but the workers seemed to enjoy cleaning for the late King.
