The Big Baller Brand site appears to be shut down

LaVar Ball addressed a crowd at last week’s Big Baller Brand All-American Game to reiterate that his company was fine despite the firing of co-founder Alan Foster, allegations of embezzlement and Lonzo Ball leaving the brand.

Fast forward six days, and the Big Baller Brand site stopped functioning.

Lonzo Wire noticed on Saturday night that the online store and website for Big Baller Brand went dark, greeting visitors with a shell Shopify domain page.

Come Sunday, the Big Baller Brand site was still down with no functionality. The error message, though, was replaced with a “Big Baller Brand Inc” coming soon page.

The “Inc” addition was curious because Big Baller Brand had been registered as a limited liability company (LLC) since at least 2017. Filings for the JBA and ZO2 brands, for example, were done under Big Baller Brand LLC. So, either LaVar is restructuring Big Baller Brand as a corporation, adding “Inc” to the name just for branding or shutting down the company completely.

In recent weeks, Big Baller Brand had marked down merchandise on its site by 40-plus percent, and it remains unclear if any of those orders will be fulfilled now that the site is down with no announcement. Big Baller Brand social accounts have gone silent since ESPN’s initial report in March.

Big Baller Brand received a failing grade from the Better Business Bureau in early 2018, and according to ESPN, it still has that failing grade.
