Hannah Brown stunned Bachelorette fans by picking musician Jed Wyatt over fan favorite Tyler Cameron, but her engagement was over before the end of the finale after Jed was forced to come clean about a pre-show romance.
After Hannah interrupted what would have been a proposal from Tyler C. and sent him home, Jed showed up with his guitar to sing Hannah a song before dropping to one knee.
On the day after her engagement, Hannah was informed that Jed had been in a relationship prior to coming on the show. Jed told Hannah that it wasn’t a serious relationship – but a bombshell People magazine report revealed that Jed spent the night before his first day of filming with his ex-girlfriend.
Hannah confronted Jed over the report, and he tried to claim that the relationship wasn’t serious, and that he didn’t understand the meaning of love until he met Hannah. Jed also admitted that he told his ex that he was going on the show solely to promote his music, and that he never thought he would develop real feelings for Hannah. When the show cut to the studio, Hannah revealed that she is no longer seeing Jed, and the engagement is off.
The show closed with Tyler C. making an entrance and Hannah asking him to grab a drink, but it’s unclear whether the two will get back together, and legions of fans are calling for Tyler to become the next Bachelor.
