A bizarre video reminding people about has been viewed tens of thousands of times online.
Members of Leeds City Council's waste and recycling team have channeled their inner George Michael to come up with new lyrics to Last Christmas - with all the words centred on the alternative bin dates.
The opening lines start with: "Last Christmas I put out my bin, but it was on the wrong day and wasn't taken away.
"This year to save me from tears, I'll check the amended schedule."
Yes, it's possibly the cheesiest music video ever made - but plenty of people seem to absolutely love it and it has been shared on hundreds of Facebook feeds.
A group run by huge Facebook community group leedsface shared the video alongside the caption: "Is this the best Leeds City Council public service announcement ever?"
Well, people certainly haven't been shy in sharing their opinions, and one comment on the Leeds Recycles Facebook page said: "A true talent. Get this to Christmas number one."
Another person said: "This is brilliant, thank you. This has definitely reminded me to check the bin day this Christmas. I like the video! Please do more!"
We know it's pretty cringy, but surely this is exactly the right time of year to get onboard with stunts like this!
