Wednesday is LeBron James’ 36th birthday, and he will, as he has done for most of his life, be playing on his birthday later this evening when his Los Angeles Lakers visit the San Antonio Spurs to start their first road trip of the season.
With James away from the family and on the road with the squad, today was the perfect opportunity for those in James’ life and those who are fans to pay respects to someone who has been in their lives for such a long time.
First, we go to LeBron’s wife, Savannah James, who shared a photo of LeBron from the bubble during the Lakers championship run.
The LeBron James Family Foundation shared an adorable post, including photos of young LeBron as a child, honoring his inner kid from Akron, even as he turns 36.
His longtime friend and agent Rich Paul sent out this touching message on his Instagram story.
Yahoo/TNT NBA insider Chris Haynes, also shared this post with him and James after James won the championship. Haynes also covered LeBron James in Cleveland when LeBron won the NBA championship in 2016.
The legendary artist Boblian created an amazing, taco-themed tribute to James and the family, as yesterday was Taco Tuesday.
