The best pieces to buy from the Lionesses' M&S collection before it all sells out

Anyone familiar with tournament football will know that their national team essentially has two outfits: suited, and booted.

The Lionesses embark on an open-top bus parade on Tuesday after defending their title as European champions in Switzerland this weekend.

For the victory parade, the England Women’s team will wear Nike red and white “Home” t-shirts in honour of their win, with full England colours on display for maximum patriotism.

However, yesterday saw the Lionesses flexing their smart outfits, especially made for them by Marks and Spencer. Fresh off the plane from Basel, the sporting stars were dressed to the nines as part of their visit to 10 Downing Street to meet Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner. Quite the task, considering how they were reportedly partying until 4am the night before.

The exclusive England x M&S collection includes diagonal-cut waistcoats, tailored trousers and wide-leg shorts, paired with chunky loafers and sleek crocodile-style pointed kitten heel mules.

The collection is available at M&S stores in Marble Arch, Stratford, City of London, White City, London Colney, Bromley, Kingston, Brent Cross, West Quay.

Their M&S collection is part of a long-running collaboration between England and the high street retailer. The relationship between the England national team and M&S dates back as far as 2007, when M&S became the official suit supplier to the England Men’s Senior Team.

The Lionesses’ win is sure to drive demand for the collection, especially considering searches for England Women’s shirts have risen by 730 per cent since the Euros win on Sunday, according to JD Sports.

Some of the items from their M&S collection are already sold out, including the tailored asymmetric waistcoat and the bermuda shorts, in both colours, black and ecru.
