What a weekend it was for Irish sport.
Katie Taylor got the party started on Saturday night when she became a two-weight world champion in Manchester.
The Bray woman produced a world-class display to dethron Christina Linardatou and claim the WBO super-light title.
On the same night, Joseph O'Brien created history at the Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita by training Iridessa to victory in the Filly & Mare Turf.
O'Brien became only the second person to both ride a winner and train a winner at the Breeders' Cup, and the youngest ever winning trainer.
And the 26-year-old's younger brother Donnacha was then crowned Irish champion jump jockey at Naas on Sunday to cap a fantastic weekend for the O'Brien clan.
33,111 were in the Aviva on Sunday to see Wexford Youths run out deserved winners of the FAI Women's Cup before Shamrock Rovers ended a 32-year wait by beating Dundalk in a penalty shootout to win the men's final.
There was also a host of county finals in the GAA with emotions running throughout. Check out our gallery for some of the best shots from a fantastic weekend of sport.
