Having missed physical fashion shows for over a year, the style set in attendance showed no interest in holding back.

Friday’s highlights included LVMH Prize Winner Nensi Dojaka’s debut solo show at the British Fashion Council’s new TikTok show space. Outside, many arrived sporting the designer’s skimpy mesh tops, constructed with delicate spaghetti straps. Post show, Dojaka’s stellar cast of models, including Jean Campbell and Nora Attal, were caught leaving in asymmetric shirts and platform flipflops.

Other buyers, journalists and influencers descended upon Pall Mall to see Bora Aksu’s garden runway show wearing oversized shirts, Marine Serre second skin tops, and thick gold chained Bottega bags. And after a disappointing summer, the September sun shined allowing for bright coloured maxi dresses and more minimal micro skirts to escape the closet.

Bigger has also been better. Supersized collars by Rejina Pyo made easy statements on the streets, while puffer trousers pulled focus. But the easiest way to stand out? Neon pink, green and orange were on the palette this season, and the photographers couldn’t get enough.
