March is proving to be a fantastic month for streaming. This week, every single one of the seven biggest platforms—which includes Netflix
Which is pretty awesome if (like me) you subscribe to multiple outlets. But it also presents a dilemma: which movies do you choose to watch?
Hopefully I can help. Here are a few of my personal recommendations. Then at the end of the article, you’ll find a full list of every new movie coming to those seven streaming platforms this week.
Cherry (Apple TV)
Tom Holland is all over the place this week. Not only does he star in the new sci-fi adventure film Chaos Walking alongside Daisy Ridley, but he also takes the helm in the crime drama Cherry.
Cherry was directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
Bombay Rose (Netflix)
Netflix has really strengthened its approach to both the animated and foreign movie market. And with the impressive-looking Bombay Rose, the world’s most popular streaming platform knocks out two birds with one stone.
Bombay Rose was directed by Gitanjali Rao.
Kid 90 (Hulu)
Any kid who grew up in the 1990s will appreciate this one! This documentary (which was executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio) takes a look back at the Hollywood stars that defined that glorious decade.
Kid 90 was directed by Soleil Moon Frye.
Speed (HBO Max)
Speaking of the ‘90s…man, I’m not sure it gets better than this? Speed is an instant-classic thriller that finds Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock pairing up for the first time to take down a domestic terrorist.
Speed was directed by Jan de Bont.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (Disney+)
Eva Green has long been one of Hollywood’s most underrated (and underused) actresses. And she really shines in the fantasy adventure film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, in which she plays the titular character.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children was directed by Tim Burton.
