The Best New Movies To Stream On Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO And Disney+ This Week

The biggest streaming services give us most of their new movies at the beginning of each month. But what about the rest of the month? Luckily, I’ve got you covered. This article will list out every new movie you can stream this week, between the dates of April 18-24.

And boy do you have quite the selection. In total, there will be 19 new movies to choose from between Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Max and Disney+ over the next seven days.

Here are the highlight movies to check out. And at the end of the article, you can find a full list of every new film you can stream this week.

Mortal Kombat (HBO Max)

It may have gotten pushed back a week, but there’s no more delaying what is undoubtedly the biggest video game movie event of the year: Mortal Kombat. This adaptation of the classic button-masher focuses on a group of fighters who gather for an epic, intergalactic fighting tournament.

Mortal Kombat will be available to stream on HBO Max on April 23.

Stowaway (Netflix)

As we venture further and further into outer space, these sorts of science fiction films will become much more prevalent. The latest sci-fi movie from Netflix packs an all-star cast, including Anna Kendrick, Toni Collette, Daniel Dae Kim and Shamier Anderson. Stowaway centers on a three-person team that discovers a mysterious fourth person on their spaceship during a mission to Mars.

Stowaway will be available to stream on Netflix on April 22.

Greta Thunberg: A Year to Change the World (Hulu)

Greta Thunberg may only be 18 years old, but she’s already been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize three times. This internationally renowned advocate for climate change is now having her story told in documentary form with Greta Thunberg: A Year to Change the World.

Greta Thunberg: A Year to Change the World will be available to stream on Hulu on April 22.

Venus and Serena (Amazon Prime)

There is simply no comparison that can be made to the otherworldly domination the Williams sisters unleashed on the tennis world during their careers. The documentary Venus and Serena follows two of the greatest players to ever live as they battle health problems and media controversy.

Venus and Serena will be available to stream on Amazon Prime on April 21.

Baby’s Day Out (Disney+)

Disney+ doesn’t always have a new movie to offer us—but you can usually count on them making a classic available. And this week is sure to be a movie that many (including myself) can get excited about: Baby’s Day Out. This family-friendly movie follows three crooks to try to kidnap a baby they can’t seem to keep track of.

Baby’s Day Out will be available to stream on Disney+ on April 23.
