The best new in fashion pieces on the high street for February

Our fashion roundups are unbiased. On some occasions, we earn revenue if you click the links and buy the products, but we never allow this to affect our coverage.

February might be the shortest month of the year but with Valentine’s Day and Fashion Week on the horizon, it also brings with it a serious amount of sartorial pressure.

By now, the majority of us are longing for the battle against cold weather to come to an end so we can finally banish well-worn knits and duvet-style coats to the back of the wardrobe for another year.

Unfortunately, the notoriously unpredictable British weather means that such winter staples must remain everyday staples for the foreseeable, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start bringing spring-worthy pieces into the mix.

From wear-with-anything basics in pastel shades to comfortable tailoring that can be easily layered and attention-grabbing accessories, there are a multitude of ways to inject your winter wardrobe with some sartorial flair.

Inspired by the spring/summer 2020 designs of Louis Vuitton and Fendi, consider opting for graphic prints inspired by the swinging Sixties in bold shades like burnt orange, regal purple and lime green.

Frills like those seen on the runway at Valentino, Miu Miu and Chanel will also prove a wise investment this season, trimming everything from handbags and mini dresses to smart shirts.

To help make getting dressed in the coming weeks that much easier, we’ve scoured our favourite stores to find the best new pieces for your wardrobe.
