The best moments from the 2023 Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony

On Saturday, a new host of NFL greats earned their place in history as the newest class of Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees.

This year’s class included names like:

  • Cleveland Browns tackle Joe Thomas
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Ronde Barber
  • New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis
  • Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware
  • Miami Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas
  • Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Ken Riley
  • Cowboys linebacker Chuck Howley
  • New York Jets defensive lineman Joe Klecko
  • Former Chargers/Cardinals coach Don Coryell

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is always one of the coolest events on the NFL calendar, as fans gather in Canton, Ohio, to celebrate some of the best NFL talents and coaches who ever represented the sport.

There were naturally some awesome moments at the 2023 ceremony, ranging from goosebump-inducing chants from the crowd to awesome tributes from one set of NFL legends to another.

Let’s break down some of the coolest moment to come out of this year’s Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Former NFL head coach Jimmy Johnson honored his former player, Zach Thomas.

Thomas joked with his old AFC East rivals while talking about his playing days in Miami.

Thomas also gave a moving tribute to his late friend and teammate, Junior Seau.

The late Ken Riley was honored by his wife Barbara for his Hall of Fame induction.

Riley's son, Ken Riley II, spoke on behalf of his father, a Bengals legend.

Hall of Fame inductee DeMarcus Ware talked about how his former Dallas Cowboys teammates inspired him.

Ware also gave an emotional tribute to his former teammates who have since passed.

Ware got plenty of tributes from those who encountered him while he was in the NFL.

Jets great Joe Klecko talked about how he wants to play in the modern NFL.

Klecko also led a J-E-T-S chant with all the New York fans in attendance.

Cowboys great Chuck Howley's son Scott had everyone in the crowd give his dad a really cool hello.

Jets legend Darrelle Revis got to unveil his Hall of Fame bust with his mom.

Revis also got to pay tribute to the cornerback who inspired him, Deion Sanders.

Late NFL coaching legend Don Coryell had his Hall of Fame bust unveiled by his daughter Mindy Coryell Lewis and Dan Fouts.

Mindy Lewis Coryell told a really cool story about her dad and John Madden.

Buccaneers great Ronde Barber got a really cool tribute from his brother, NFL great Tiki Barber.

In turn, Ronde Barber paid Tiki Barber a special tribute during his speech.

Browns great Joe Thomas got a warm greeting from all the Cleveland fans in attendance.

Thomas talked about the 3 keys to success that helped him in his career.

Thomas thanked all the Browns fans who cheered him on every Sunday.

Thomas also talked about the special bond he had with his fellow offensive linemen.
