The best Megabonk character tier list

Megabonk offers different characters to use in the game, and not all of them are built the same.

Your choices will be minimal when you're just starting. You can unlock more characters by completing specific in-game conditions. Some of them are naturally stronger than the remaining choices, and this tier list will help you to settle on the best options.

Complete Megabonk character tier list

To classify the characters, I have used three different tiers.

  • S-tier represents the best set of characters, who are extremely strong in the meta.
  • A-tier represents strong characters who can do well in the hands of players who understand their kits.
  • B-tier represents average characters who are helpful in niche situations.
  • C-tier represents the weakest characters in the current meta.

S-tier

  • Calcium: One of the most complex characters to master, Calcium can hit multiple enemies with the same shot. For building, it's best to go full damage to make his Bones more powerful. His passive also automatically increases his speed over time. Alternatively, you can also power up his speed slightly.
  • CL4NK: The best character in the game, and he can dish out massive damage quickly. It's best to go with a hybrid of crit and damage as a build.
  • Megachad: Arguably the tankiest character in the game, Megachad is perfect for completing the AFK challenge. You can improve his shield and damage for better results.
  • Robinette: Pure DPS by abilities, you'll do well to use a tome that improves her Gold income per level, as that will also increase her damage. You should also buff her crit.
  • Dicehead: Dicehead is one of the most broken characters in the current meta, and it's easy to build him up. Just go full crit and damage, and that will be enough.

A-Tier

  • Sir Oofie: While Sir Oofie is slow, he is beginner-friendly and a good starter pick for all. You should aim to improve his attack speed to make him last longer.
  • Ninja: While speed is no problem for Ninja, I will put a shield on him personally. Alternatively, you can go full damage and crit build if you want to one-shot enemies.
  • Bush: Bush is a typical sniper who excels at precise shots. You should aim well and buff his damage and critical chance with the correct tomes.
  • Ogre: Ogre is an all-rounder who doesn't specialize in anything specific. I feel it's just best to go with a complete damage build for him, as that will buff up all his all-around skills.

B-tier

There is not much to say about B- and C-tier characters. You can go with them, but the names on the tiers above are better across all situations.

  • Athena
  • Noelle
  • Tony McZoom
  • Amog
  • Birdo
  • Vlad
  • Fox
  • Monke

C-tier

  • Sir Chadwell
  • Spaceman
  • Bandit

To use more characters (apart from Sir Oofie), you'll need to unlock them.
