Hark the good, greedy people of Word of Mouth, over on the Travel section (it's nice there, you should visit...), I have written this bunch of words. It's all about the best budget places to eat in the fine city of Liverpool. You (and you ... and you, as well ...) may well have put other places in such a list; if so, let's hear about them.
For starters, I just didn't have space to include Masterchef, No 7 Cafe or the cafe at the Everyman theatre; and I haven't been to Host yet - have you? And what about Negresco on Lark Lane? The food set-up seems to have changed, recently - do they still do tapas in the bar? Is it any good?
Come on, Scousers, visitors and, even, Mancs who frequently travel down the East Lancs (like me); let's get gastronomically comprehensive on Merseyside, for around or under £10-a-head.
