Three of the 'best jobs in Britain' have become available including the perk of living in a CASTLE but will also require - ABSEILING off the battlements.
The vacancies at St Michael's Mount - which nestles in the bay just off Marazion in Cornwall - are for a new island manager, head gardener, and castle steward.
The island manager is responsible for running all aspects of the business on the island.
Offering a salary of up to £40,000, the role is already getting plenty of attention following its announcement on the destination's Facebook page.
Many fans of the picturesque landmark have responded by hailing the vacancy as their 'dream job'.
The role of head gardener, which reports to the island manager, takes the dream one step further.
Alongside a salary of up to £28,500, the successful applicant will earn themselves a two or three-bedroom house within the harbourside village.
The home boasts views from the south side up to the castle - but applicnats are warned they'll need a good head for heights.
The role description states: "Gardening on a rock in the middle of the sea isn’t for the faint-hearted, nor is abseiling from the battlements of a castle.
''But the garden team on St Michael’s Mount take all this in their stride as well as the general terrain which would challenge the most agile mountain goat."
St Michael's Mount welcomes some 350,000 visitors each year from across the world who make the magical journey across either by boat or by walking across the causeway, depending on the tide.
