'The best is yet to come!' Chelsea fans go wild as Pulisic, Werner and Ziyech star vs Krasnodar

Chelsea strolled their way to their first UEFA Champions League victory of the season on Wednesday night with a comfortable 4-0 away win over Russian side FC Krasnodar.

After missing a penalty through Italian midfield ace Jorginho after just 14 minutes, some fans could have been forgiven for wondering if it was going to be one of those nights when lady luck was not shining on the Blues.

However, any fears were soon put to bed eight minutes before half time when some poor goalkeeping from Krasnodar's Matvey Safonov allowed Callum Hudson Odoi's effort to find a way to goal.

The Blues increased their pressure after the break and scored a further three times inside the final 15 minutes through Timo Werner, who netted from the penalty spot, Hakim Ziyech, who scored his first for the club, and substitute Christian Pulisic.

Pulisic's strike capped off a fine evening for Frank Lampard's attacking stars, offering a sample to the club's supporters of what could be about to come now that they are now fit and firing once again.

Add summer signing Kai Havertz into that equation and Chelsea boast one of the deadliest-looking attacking threats in the Premier League.

Now that Ziyech has found his way back to fitness again, as well as Pulisic, Chelsea's supporters have every reason to be excited.

Soon after the full time whistle had blown at the Krasnodar Stadium, Chelsea's supporters flooded social media with their excitement and anticipation for what could lie ahead.

Here, we have taken a close look at what some Chelsea supporters have had to say about the prospect of Havertz, Ziyech, Pulisic and Werner forming an attacking quartet....

After the game, Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard was full of praise for his side and for Ziyech on his first start for the club.
He said: "It was frustrating his injury meant he hasn't been able to start.
"He's a player of immense quality and personality. We saw a lot of glimpses of that today and he will get better."
