If you were out and about on Sunday afternoon - whether coming from a countryside walk or perhaps taking in the Forest game - you will have noticed one major thing.
The wonderful sunset which filled the skies above Nottingham with different hues of red and orange.
And dozens of people took to Instagram to showcase their best photos of the sight.
Sunset was at 3.55pm locally on Sunday, December 29, so it made spectacular viewing for those looking out towards the west from the City Ground for the 3pm kick-off against Wigan.
This was the scene looking down Pelham Street towards Long Row, Old Market Square and the Winter Wonderland.
As ever, the River Trent made a great backdrop to many images.

Down by the canal in Nottingham city centre, this atmospheric photo shows a slightly darker view.
And it looks even more forbidding over at Strelley village, with the dark silhouette of the church against the background of the sky.
