Theme parks are a big part of what makes Orlando such an appealing place to visit. But there’s a lot more going on in the city than a magical mouse and some broomstick-riding wizards. Hyatt Regency Orlando
This hotel, the second tallest building in Orlando, has panoramic views of the city and more than 1,600 rooms. Hyatt Regency Orlando is located next to the Orange County Convention Center and has an on-site rental car service—plus an 11th Hour Business Solutions Center. The hotel may draw many business travelers—but the seven restaurants, spa, two pools (one with a water slide and splash pad) and rooftop tennis court make it easy to play, too.

The Point Orlando
This boutique hotel offers unique amenities (like gel-infused mattresses and in-room jacuzzi bathtubs) in its studios and suites. The outdoor pool offers food and drink service. And there’s a daily shuttle to local attractions—but must it must be reserved a day in advance.

Floridays Resort Orlando
This family-friendly resort offers two- and three-bedroom suites that have full kitchens. The property also welcomes pets. The main pool has a playscape area for kids and a pool bar for adult—and there’s a quieter pool with a hot tub, both of which are heated year-round. A free shuttle service can take you to many Orlando attractions.
