The sign has been on the Tyne Bridge for a while now and the clock is now ticking down at rapid pace to the 2019 Simplyhealth Great North Run.
The Great North Run is always a huge event for the area as tens of thousands of fun runners join elite athletes to take on the famous Newcastle to South Shields road race.
The 13.1 mile distance is one many people have ran before and, as well as getting a commemorative t-shirt and medal for crossing the line in Shields, this year there are a number of offers available to those who do so.
