Mother's Day is just around the corner and we think we might just have found the best Geordie card for the occasion
It's been well documented that people have struggled to find 'mam' cards for Mother's Day in the past. But now, as well as being well stocked with mam greetings, local firm Geordie Gifts have designed a card that couldn't be any more Newcastle if it tried.
The company, who have a shop in the Grainger Market, as well as being regulars at markets in Tynemouth and down on the Quayside, are specialists in coming up with cards and presents that deliver true Geordie sentiments.
And hot on the heels of their very well received Tyne Bridge themed Valentine's card , they are now selling a Mother's Day card which references another Newcastle insitution.
On sale in store and online now is a card which reads "Torn that big light off will yi. Like Fenwick's Window in here."
And there are other gems available to including "Mum, Mummy, Mother - It's Mam Card," "Stop being a worky ticket. Al tell yi Dad mind," and "Close that bloody door man. Letting aal the heat oot."
The cards are priced £2.99 and you can also pick up similarly themed greetings on mugs and fridge magnets too.
