The World Cup is among the globe’s greatest shows, and we don’t just mean the on-pitch action: The pageantry on the sidelines is just as important.

Each country – some of which are making their debut – wants to put their best foot forward and showcase their local culture, whether that be through squad announcement videos or team kits.

Now that all of the teams have made it to their national base camps, we thought it was time to take a look at how they got there, as many carriers have unveiled special aircraft livery for the occasion.

From Aerolíneas Argentinas’ Lionel Messi-inspired tail fin to Air Algérie’s flag-flying number, here are the best World Cup aircraft liveries for 2026.

Argentina
